 The initiative of the government for the denationalization of everything has put in the market all the state assets and shares packages starting from the strategic objects to the abandoned military commands. The minister of economy Dritan Prifti said in a press declaration that the government is expected to gain 100 million euros from the denationalizations of this year.“The initiative is to denationalize everything except the plants in the river Drin, the health system and the education system. We have started the process for the denationalization of the remaining part of Albtelekom, of ARMO and the process of choosing the international counselors for the denationalization of Albpetrol. A ministerial work group has been created for the denationalization of INSIG and we have hundreds of factories and plant in the process of liquidation. We expect a contribution of 100 million euros from the denationalizations of this year, contribute that will add to the budged of the state”, said Prifti. The head of the ministry of economy that will lead this process has invited the Albanian entrepreneurs to take part in the denationalization and has specified the right of the owners for the pre-buying process. We would like the Albanian business to buy these assets and the owners have the right of pre-buying. If a state asset has been their property they have the right of pre-buying and there will be no competition for that. This applies even in cases when a state property has been rented by a subject or person and 150% of the value of the property has been invested by the holder. The process of the property evaluation will be done by the ministry of economy and the auctions by the ministry of finances. Adi Darsi |
