 The National Theatre of Opera and Ballet will be reconstructed and the fund for this operation is 150 million old lekë. After many years and the problems with the heating system in the main venue, the theatre will finally have a new and efficient structure for continuing the artistic season.“The building of the theatre needs to be revised after being used for so many years. The government has conferred the fund for heating system of the theatre. During all this time we have opened the archives to find out where to apply the new structure. We will improve the acoustic system which was with very old parameters”, says Zhani Ciko, director of the theater. While during this period the have been improvements in the job sections with better instruments and better audition places. This reconstruction will not interfere with the showing schedule, which will continue in October with the musical “Maria Gallante”.
