Durres, the summer movie festival is now open |

 The second edition of The Summer Movie Festival in Durres opened with the movie “Slumdog Millionaire”. This was a smart choice from the organizers because the winner of the Oskar for the year 2009 attracted a lot the Albanian audience. The Romanian actress Maia Morgenstern opened the festival on Saturday night and expressed her happiness for being part of this event.
In this festival will compete 18 movies, including the regional and national premier movies that will compete in two sections, that of Balkan World and Contemporary Visions. The retrospective cinema on this festival is dedicated to the Albanian director Dhimiter Anagnosti. The festival will end in August 30-th with the movie “The Giant” of the Italian director Paolo Sorrentino.
