The economy commission: miners will retire at the age of 60 |

The miners now will retire at the age of 60 after the approval of the law for lowering the retirement age for the underground workers. The parliamentary commission of economy approved the bill that says that the miners will now retire at the age of 60 instead of 65 like it was before.
Also the years of work have been lowered from 35 to 30 years of work where 15 of them should be done as a miner. The financial effects for this law are considered to be 300 million Leke in a year. This law fulfilled the request of the miners that had asked for lowering the retirement age.
