ImageThe Serbian minister of the foreign affairs Vuk Jeremiç said that his country has no plans to enter the NATO or to any other military alliance. In the international conference for the security in Munich, Jeremiç said that Serbia will be military impartial. He also added that Beograd will cooperate with NATO and other states to secure the peace in the western Balkans.

Jeremiç said that Beograd is especially concerned for the peace and stability in Kosovo. He said to the officials that are discussing for the global security that the priority of Serbia is that the Kosovo should be discussed in the highest international levels. Beograd has said that will never recognize the independence of Kosovo.

Russia has supported the decision of Beograd for Kosovo and it does not recognize it either. The delegate of Russia in NATO Dmitri Rogozin, have said that Serbia should quit the war for Kosovo if it want to be part of the western alliance. In an interview published in the magazine “Blic”, the Russian delegate said that NATO can accept Serbia only with the new borders, which means without Kosovo.
