Arsenal has lost 2-1 in the match with Porto for the 1/16 of the Champions League but the English team is furious with the referee who let the Portuguese team score a goal. The coach Arsene Venger has openly accused the referee Martin Hansson for the goal scored in the 51st minute that decided the match. “Usually the goalkeeper keeps the ball till every player gets back but he gave it to the referee. It is impossible to defend in this way. So in a situation where there are no chances for goal the referee did not give them a foul but a goal. It is difficult to understand but maybe I am not that intelligent”, said Venger ironically. Looking these polemics, the next match in England will be quite interesting and the English team needs only one goal to pass the turn. Venger is sure for the qualification of his team. Eno Skarço |
