The terrorist attack to the team of Togo in Angola has put in question the security of the World Cup 2010 that will be held this summer in South Africa, but the organizer of the biggest football competition have assured that everything will be under control. The reaction of the Organization Committee of the World Cup came 3 days after the bus of the Togo national team was attacked by a separatist terrorist group where 2 persons lost their lives and 9 others were injured.“We are sure that the world will be held in full security. What happened in Angola is a real tragedy. Also the activity that is being held in Angola has nothing to do with the World Cup. Every measure has been taken for a secure competition”, said the president of the Organization Committee of the World, Dany Jordan. Even the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense in South Africa, Eejay Ramlakan has announced that nothing can threat the tournament of the World Cup. “All the measures have been taken and everything is already planned. The security of the competition was one of the sectors where has been invested more than in the others”, said the representant of the Ministry of Defense. The World Cup 2010 will start on June 11th and will end with the final match on July 11th. Nertan Prifti |
