ImageThe scandal for the black out in the Qemal Stafa stadium during the friendly match Gramozi – Real Madrid was the main news of the prestigious medias all over the world. The Spanish daily newspaper “Marca” published the news in its first page and the article was titled: “Kaka and Benzema were the light in Albania”. The delegate of “Marca” in Albania has declared that the black out occurred at the beginning of the second half and that the players of Real Madrid had to wait for more than 1 hour and a half to restart the match.

Even the daily sportive “AS” emphasizes the fact that the team had to wait for too long to get back on the match, that according to the newspaper was interrupted by a black out involving the entire Albanian capital. What happened in the stadium, during the match that was supposed to be a spectacular match was reflected even in the political Spanish papers. “Lights go out to Real”, was written in “El Pais” while at the “La Vanguardia” sport page the first news was titled: “Real Madrid is obscured in Albania”.

More ironic was the British daily news “The Independent” that was focused in Real’s star Cristano Ronaldo. “When he transferred in Madrid last summer to play with the 9 times European champions, Cristiano Ronaldo had never thought that one day he woud be uin the suburbs of Tirana to wait for 90 minutes the restart of a match interrupted by a power black out”, is written in the article of “The Independent”.

Even the Italian daily news “La Republica” saved some space for this news regarding what happened in Qemal Stafa stadium. “Real wins in Albania after 90 minutes of black out”, is written in the Italian newspaper.
